Rule of Thumb. If you are considering work outside your home or lot, submit a request online or contact the HOA Office. Failure to submit a request can lead to a violation of an unapproved improvement, leading to fines if it escalates through the violation process.
Please plan ahead of time. A minimum of 30 days is expected. *Larger projects can take up to 60 days for approval.
Important things to remember when submitting an ACC Request:
- Get to know your covenants before starting any work or submitting a request. Our governing documents require that the Association approve all proposed architectural changes before any work is started.
- Complete the ACC Request Form
- Whisper Falls HOA Design Guidelines (6/25/25)
- Home Modification Online Submission Form
- Include Manufacturer Information/Documentation, Pictures, Dimensions, and Color Swatches (when applicable)
- Attach Plat Map with the location of modifications/additions (Recommend that you make several copies of your plat map for future ACC Requests)
- We ask you to give the HOA at least 30 days from the project's planned start.
- All work must be completed within 180 days from approval.
- If you have questions, please reach out to the Community Administrator janet.quezada@ccmcnet.com.
The importance of this requirement cannot be overstated when you consider the reason for such a restriction. Membership in a community association requires compliance with pre-existing conditions and regulations. One of the most significant advantages of these conditions is the protection of our property values. The value of your home is directly related to the state, appearance, and aesthetics of our community as a whole. By regulating the kind and types of architectural changes that can be done, our Association can maintain our property values better. Therefore, getting our Association to approve all proposed architectural changes is not just a good idea to protect your investment. It is a requirement!
To be on the safe side, don't change anything on the outside of your home or property before receiving approval because it could lead to a fine, or you have to remove the change. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
